VOLUNTEER WORK AND RELEVANT EXPERIENCE

Face Painting — Wednesday Night Acoustics-Festival in the park

I painted faces for free during the Wednesday Night Acoustic series in the park. I never charged because I didn’t want any kid to be left out. I also did face paint at Festival in the Park.

Makeup and Costumes — Spearfish Middle School Drama

I helped manage the middle school drama makeup team and assisted with costumes.

Rug Tufting Demo/Workshop — Belle Fourche High School Art Club

I ran a workshop and demo on rug making for consecutive weeks for the high school art club.

Work Study/Studio Proctor— Black Hills State Art Department

I work in the art department as a studio proctor. I monitor the students using the studios and classrooms. I keep the studios clean and perform tasks to maintain the supplies and materials of the studios when needed.

Student Teaching Internship— Creekside Elementary/Spearfish Middle School

I completed 8 weeks of my student teaching internship at Creekside Elementary and 8 weeks at Spearfish Middle School.
